Hey — I’m Adam Bernstein, a Webby Award winning director, producer, and creative storyteller.

My work has ranged from getting Charles Barkley to audition for True Detective to producing a short documentary about a U.S. citizen wrongly placed on the government’s “kill list.” Whether it’s comedy, character-driven storytelling, or documentaries with real-world stakes, I’m drawn to projects that find the most entertaining way to tell the truth.

Before joining Just Women’s Sports, I helped shape digital storytelling at Bleacher Report, Rolling Stone, and Splice, developing original formats, short-form series, and brand-defining video. At JWS, I lead creative direction and video strategy, building the next generation of storytelling in women’s sports.

 

When I’m not producing or editing, I’m usually watching something I’ll later call “research,” trying to play guitar, or writing a musical about a pop star (yes, really).
